Accomplishing all of these tasks beforehand will allow us to get our jobs done effectively and efficiently while capturing your home in its perfect state.
*We will not be able to move things from room to room*
- We LOVE pets, but please keep them in the garage or separate area during the shoot.
- All floor mats and small rugs should be removed and put in a closet or garage. (frontdoor, backdoors, kitchen, and bathrooms) This allows us to show off the floors, however, large
- Area rugs are okay
- Countertops should be clear of soaps, sponges, toothbrushes, makeup, etc. in the kitchen and bathrooms.
- All blinds pulled all the way up and curtains pulled open.
- Check all lights and lamps leading up to the shoot to ensure there are no bulbs that are burnt out.
- Each room should be free of clutter, including pet food, toys, and random items.
- If you have a walk-in closet try to clean and organize the best you can.
- All fans, portable air conditioners, vacuums, and other large items need to be put away in a closet or garage.
- All trash cans in the kitchen, bathrooms, office, etc. should be put away.
- All outdoor trash/recycling bins should be stored away in the garage. (not on the side of the house)
- The backyard should be maintained (mowed, no dog poop) and free of clutter (bags of soil, toys, random chairs)
- Grill covers off of grills if they look nice and clean.
- All cars need to be out of the driveway and away from the front of the house.
- We will only photograph the garage if it has a workbench, or laundry. If not, feel free to store all extra items in there.
- Do not try to hide items in corners, behind beds or doors. We take photos from many angles, and therefore items need to be put away in a closet or garage.
